Macon Bibb approves on-site consumption at growler stores

Late this spring, Macon Bibb passed an ordinance to allow for growler stores to sell draft beer in to-go containers.  Growler Spot was the first to capitalize on this new law and opened shortly after.  Lazy Dog is in the process of opening their second location, and first in Macon Bibb, this fall.  Yesterday, growler shops were treated to a second important piece of legislation.  On-premises consumption is now allowed in Macon Bibb with the appropriate license.  Once Growler Spot has their license approved, you'll be able to enjoy beer flights and pints at their store.  Lazy Dog is expected to open with both on and off-premises licenses in place.

2014 is shaping up to be the year of the growler in Macon!
